Matt Kenseth (born March 10, 1972) is a stock car racing driver for the Roush Racing team in NASCAR's Nextel Cup series. He currently drives the #17 Ford car, which is sponsored by DeWalt and owned by Jack Roush. Kenseth lost to Dale Earnhardt Jr. twice for the Busch Series Championship, but beat him out for the Winston Cup Raybestos Rookie of the Year. In 2003 he dominated in the points standings for almost the entire season and became the 2003 NASCAR Winston Cup champion, the last driver to ever hold that title.
