Matthew Modine - Definition

Matthew Modine (born March 22, 1959 in Loma Linda, California) is an American actor.

Modine was the youngest of seven children in a tight-knit Mormon family. After he saw a documentary about Oliver!, he decided to become an actor. After relocating to New York in 1979, he worked several odd jobs before he met his wife and started landing roles.
