Maurice Ashley - Definition and Overview

Maurice Ashley (born March 6, 1966) is a chess grandmaster; he is the only African-American grandmaster, and was born in Jamaica. As of December 2003, USCF has given Ashley a regular rating of 2522, and a quick rating of 2542. Ashley is associated with Chesswise.
