Former actress Mayim Bialik (born December 12, 1975 in San Diego, California, USA) is probably best known for her lead role in the NBC television series Blossom. But in 1989, she also won the Young Artist Award for "Best Young Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Fantasy", for her role in Beaches (1988). She currently works as a scientist.
