McCulloch McCulloch

McCulloch - Definition and Overview

McCulloch is well known as a manufacturer of chainsaws. The company was founded in 1943 as a manufacturer of small two-stroke gasoline engines and introduced its first chainsaw in 1948. In the 1970s it added hedge trimmers, string trimmers, and leaf blowers to the product line, but continued to keep a narrow focus on lawn and garden equipment. Since its 1999 acquisition by the Taiwanese company Jenn Feng Industrial Co., Ltd, it has added electric power tools such as drills and sanders.
