"Mediator" is a book series written by Meg Cabot. It was originally written under a pseudonym, Jenny Carroll. It consists of 6 six books, entitled Shadowland, Ninth Key, Reunion, Darkest Hour, Haunted, and the latest book, Twilight. There will most likely be no more books in the series (but Meg Cabot is known for changing her mind at the last moments, so we never know...) These books are about a 16 year old high schooler, Suze Simon. She's like your average high-schooler...but with one major difference. Suze is a mediator, meaning she has the ability to talk to ghosts. Not only that, she can touch, hug, communicate, and even kiss other ghosts! When she moves in with her new stepfather, she finds out that there's a ghost from the nineteenth century haunting her room! Not only that, the ghost has definitely got her attention, and slowly, Suze finds herself being attracted to him.
