Meg Hillier is a Labour Party and Co-operative Party politician and former member of the London Assembly for North East London. She was formerly a councillor in the London Borough of Islington. She also worked as a journalist.
She has been selected to contest the Hackney South and Shoreditch seat at the next General Election.
