Mel Giedroyc (born June 5, 1968 in Epsom, London) is a British television presenter, actress, and writer.
Giedroyc is best known for presenting comedy items alongside Sue Perkins. They have both hosted a lunchtime show on Channel 4 called Light Lunch, and an early evening version, Late Lunch. The two met whilst students at Cambridge, Mel being a student of Trinity College, and were both members of the famous comedy club Footlights.
Giedroyc has also been a presenter on Channel 4's RI:SE.
