The 2006Mercury Milan (pronounced "Mile-uhn") is a midsize sedan based on the Ford CD3 platform. The Milan carries a unique fascia and tail design, but is otherwise identical to its Ford cousin, the Ford Fusion. The Milan, along with the full-size 2005Mercury Montego, will replace the ageing Mercury Sable. The Milan also fills the gap left after the cancellation of the midsize Mercury Mystique in 2000.
