Metamer ,Metamerism ,Metameric match are terms that relate to photometry.
Metamerism is most often thought of as as 2 colour samples which appears the same under one light source but may not in another light source. This is due to the samples different spectral distribution curves.
Metameric matches will share the same location on the CIE chromaticity diagram.
