The Metropolitan Borough of Hackney was a metropolitan borough of the County of London from 1899 to 1965. It was merged into the London Borough of Hackney.

It included the districts of Hackney, Clapton, Homerton, Dalston and part of Kingsland. It bordered Stoke Newington, Islington, Shoreditch, Bethnal Green and the Poplar.
