Michael Buffer (born November 2, 1944) is a well-known American boxing ring announcer.

With his tuxedo image and famous catchphrase "Let's get ready to rumble!", Michael Buffer has become one of the most recognized faces in the world of sports entertainment thanks to his 20 plus years of announcing many of the biggest championship boxing events.

He is most famous for the quote "Let's get ready to rumble!", delivered in a booming, extending manner. Not only is it a personal catch-phrase, but it is an actual registered trademark in the United States.

Buffer's catch-phrase has provided him with many media opportunities. He has been animated in the hit sitcom The Simpsons, has been a guest of shock radio DJ Howard Stern multiple times, provided the voice on a number one hit single "Lets Get Ready To Rumble (USA)" and appears in boxing computer game Ready 2 Rumble.
