Michael Strahan is an American Football player who currently plays Defensive End for the New York Giants of the NFL. Strahan was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press in 2001. He holds the NFL record for sacks in a single season with 22 and 1/2, breaking Mark Gastineau's record in the 2001 season. He currently has 118 career sacks.
