Mid Glamorgan is a ceremonial preserved county of Wales, one of the divisions of the traditional county of Glamorgan. From 1974 until 1994, it was also an administrative county. It was divided into six districts:

Mid Glamorgan is now split into the unitary authorities of Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf. In 1994, Wick, St Bride's Major, Ewenny and Pentyrch were moved from Mid Glamorgan into South Glamorgan, and in 2003 the part of Caerphilly formerly in Mid Glamorgan was transferred to Gwent.
