Mike Joyce was the drummer for The Smiths.
He sued former guitarist Johnny Marr and former singer Morrissey in 1996, as he and bassist Andy Rourke had only received 10% of performance and recording royalties compared to 40% each for Morrissey and Marr. The court ruled in favour of Joyce but Morrissey appealed.
