Mikhail Vasilievich Pletnev (Михаил Васильевич Плетнев) (born April 14, 1957 Arkhangelsk, Russia) is a pianist, conductor, and composer. He is also the winner of the Tchaikovsky International Competition and Laureate Conductor of the Russian National Orchestra. He is currently an exclusive contract pianist for Deutsche Grammophon.
