Milan is a town located in Dodge County, Georgia. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,012.

Milan is located at 32°1'13" North, 83°3'51" West (32.020195, -83.064091)1.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 8.2 km² (3.2 mi²). 8.1 km² (3.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.32% is water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 1,012 people, 326 households, and 215 families residing in the town. The population density is 124.4/km² (322.6/mi²). There are 383 housing units at an average density of 47.1/km² (122.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 64.72% White, 34.88% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.40% from two or more races. 1.28% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 326 households out of which 28.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.5% are married couples living together, 10.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 34.0% are non-families. 32.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 18.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.34 and the average family size is 2.97.
