Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Epstein is a Talmudist and the Rosh Yeshiva of the Slabodka Yeshiva. He authored the Levush Mordechai. His friendship with Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Finkel, the Yeshiva's mashgiach ruchani (spiritual counsellor) was well known.
