Mount Olympus in Utah, USA is the most prominent and recognizable mountain in the Salt Lake Valley. Situated in the Midvalley area, Olympus' tallest outcropping, dubbed "Summit Peak" rises above the Wasatch Front basin at an elevation of 9,026 feet (2751 m). Thus, the peak looms more than 4,800 feet (1500 m) over the valley floor.
