Mountain Ash (Welsh: Aberpennar) is a town in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taff, traditional county of Glamorgan, south Wales. It lies in the Cynon Valley. Mountain Ash hosted the National Eisteddfod in 1905 and 1946.
