Moves was a wargaming magazine published by SPI, Inc. While each issue of Strategy & Tactics featured and actually included a new wargame, scrunched into the magazine, Moves focused on game strategy, variants, reviews, and gaming-specific information. Founded by Jim Dunnigan and began publication in 1972. Changing trends in game play led to its eventual decline in the 1980s. It was bought out by TSR, when SPI ran into financial difficulties.

The final issue (#60) of the first series was published in 1981. The second series of issues began publication in 1991 with issue #61.
