Mozambique Channel - Definition and Overview

The Mozambique Channel is a portion of the Indian Ocean between the island of Madagascar and southeast Africa. It was a World War II clashpoint.

The islands of the Comoros, Grande Comore, Moheli and Anjouan and Mayotte are located in the channel, as is the tiny Juan de Nova Island.
