Mu Dong (also known as Wudang) is a form of Kung Fu that originates from the Wudang mountains in the Hubei province in central China where the original Taoist temples were first constructed thousands of years ago.

Next to the five Taoist elements (water, earth, fire, wood and iron) Mu Dong incorporates, the five Shaolin animals of tiger, crane, snake, leopard and dragon are also evident in the many forms of Mu Dong Kung Fu.

Mu Dong has both internal and external aspects. It is claimed that special exercises done with forms and basics develop a hard outer shell on the body and builds "Nui Gong" (pronounced "Noy Kong") which is the internal power.
