Muhsin Muhammad(May 5, 1973, Lansing, Michigan)is an American Football player who currently plays wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers of the NFL. He played college football at Michigan State University and was drafted in 1996 by the Panthers. After 2 mediocre seasons, he broke out as the primary second reciever behind Steve Smith. He averaged around a thousand yards from 1998-2000, had an off year in 2001, then came back to his normal self. He played in the Super Bowl in January 2004, losing to the New England Patriots in a tight battle that came down to a last minute field goal. In the 2004-05 season, he exploded to lead the NFL in recieving yards, adding a career high 16 touchdowns as well.
