New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, or NOIDA is a department of the government of Uttar Pradesh. New Okhla is a highly industrialised city with various amenities avaliable, and is considered to be one of the more modernised suburb district of Uttar Pradesh.
There were plans by NOIDA to shift the industrial bases away from NCR and India's capital New Delhi.
