NXFM is a Australian radio station, licensed to, and serving Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. It broadcasts at 106.9 megahertz on the FM band from its studios in Charlestown. It is owned by Radio Newcastle, a joint venture of Austereo and RG Capital (sold to Macquarie Bank's Regional Radio Pty. Ltd. in 2004).
It was originally AM station 2NX, but moved to the FM band in the 1990's, changing its callsign to 2NNX. It's sister station in KOFM.
It was once owned by the Catholic Church, along with Sydney station 2SM and sister station 2NM Muswellbrook.
