Nagoya Grampus Eight is a Japanese football team which plays in the first division of the J. League. The team is based in Nagoya and was founded as the company team of Toyota Motor Corp. in the 1950s. The team is currently regarded as one of the weaker sides of the J. League, although it had an excellent season in the mid 1990s when it was managed by current Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger, and featured, among others, Gary Lineker on the team.
