Nanosys is a nanotechnology company located in Palo Alto, California.
Its core competencies are
- Design and fabrication of high-quality inorganic semiconductor nanostructures
- Assembly of high-performance nanostructures into devices
- Engineering of "quantum" properties
In 2004, Nanosys planed to conduct an IPO, becoming the first publicly-traded nanotechnology company. On 4 August 2004, however, it cancelled its IPO plan.
