The National Book Critics Circle (NBCC) is an American association of approximately seven hundred book reviewers.

The NBCC was founded in New York City 1974. Every year, it makes an award, the National Book Critics Circle Award to the best book in five categories: fiction, general nonfiction, biography/autobiography, poetry, and criticism.
