Network SouthEast (NSE) was a sector of British Rail that principally operated commuter trains in the London area. It was formed in 1986 during the sectorisation of British Rail. NSE was broken down into various sub-divisions.
- Chiltern - Buckinghamshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands.
- Great Eastern - East London, Essex, Suffolk.
- Great Nothern - Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire.
- Island Line - Isle of Wight
- Kent Coast - Kent, South-East London.
- London, Tilbury and Southend (LTS) - East London, Essex.
- North Downs - Berkshire, Surrey.
- Northampton Line - Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, West Midlands.
- Solent and Wessex - Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset.
- South London Line - South London, West Sussex
- South Western Line - Surrey, Hampshire.
- Sussex Coast - Sussex
- Thames Turbo - Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire.
- Thameslink - Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Greater London, Surrey, West Sussex
