The New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSV-CE) is a version of the NRSV adapted by the Roman Catholic Church. It is cited by the American edition of the Catechism of the Catholic Church; however, its liturgical use was rejected by the Holy See because of its gender-inclusive language.
