Newsworld International is an American cable news channel which contains a mix of CBC and other international newscasts. The channel provides its audience with the news from a variety of global perspectives. It also acts as a news source for Canadians living in or visiting the United States.

The network was launched by the CBC, in partnership with a subsidiary of Power Corporation of Canada in 1994, and aired much of the same programming as CBC Newsworld in Canada. In 2000, the channel was sold to one of the companies which would become Vivendi Universal.

In 2004, the channel was purchased by former Vice-President of the United States Al Gore and Joel Hyatt. The programming continues to be provided by the CBC, for the time being. Gore and Hyatt plan to relaunch the channel as INdTV, specializing in a youth perspective on national issues. Gore and Hyatt went down this route after deciding that a liberal news network would be rejected by national advertisers.
