The Nicktoons Film Festival is a competition and television series presenting independent animated shorts. It premiered on Nickelodeon's NickToons channel on October 24, 2004. Its grand prize winner will receive $10,000. The series was created by former Hanna-Barbera president Fred Seibert, and was produced by Frederator Studios and Animation magazine for the Nickelodeon cable channel.
