Nikola Pašić (Serbian Никола Пашић, pronounced Pashich), (December 18 1846- December 10 1926) was a Serbian premier, who controlled Serbia from 1903 until his death.
Pašić was known for his pro-Russian and anti-Austrian foreign policies, important at the time when World War I was about to start.
He negotiated the 1917 union of Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia, forming Yugoslavia, and was later the prime minister of Yugoslavia.
