Noatak River - Definition

The Noatak River is a river in northwestern Alaska. The river begins in the Brooks Range at about 67°28' North 154°50' West, and flows westward about 640 km (400 miles) to the Chukchi Sea at Kotzebue Sound. The river is a small distance north of the Arctic Circle.

The Noatak National Preserve is along the shores of the river.

The only settlement along the Noatak River is the village of Noatak.
