North Lanarkshire is one of 32 unitary council regions in Scotland. It borders onto City of Glasgow, Falkirk, East Dunbartonshire and South Lanarkshire. The council covers parts of the traditional counties of Lanarkshire, Dunbartonshire, and Stirlingshire.
