North Richmond is an unincorporated area adjacent to Richmond, California. An impoverished ghetto predominantly populated by African Americans.
Casino
A Native American (Idiginous People) tribe has proposes a casino on a 23 acre (93,000 m²) site recently purchased. Although some clergy have expressed feelings of disconcertian, the impoverished community has welcomed the project as a good-revenue source. Another thing that has improved relations is outreach by the tribe comparing their people's struggle to that of African Americans.
