Northcote railway station, Melbourne - Definition

Northcote Railway Station opened in 1889. It was originally named Middle Northcote, and was changed to Northcote in 1906. Prior to this, Merri Railway Station was known as Northcote, and changed to Merri when Middle Northcote took its name.
