Nuremberg is a census-designated place located in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 231.

Geography

Nuremberg is located at 40°56'18" North, 76°10'10" West (40.938375, -76.169506)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²). 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 231 people, 103 households, and 57 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 891.9/km² (2,207.4/mi²). There are 108 housing units at an average density of 417.0/km² (1,032.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 98.27% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 1.73% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 103 households out of which 23.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.7% are married couples living together, 12.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 43.7% are non-families. 36.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 23.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.24 and the average family size is 3.02.
