Moddimolle (formerly known as Nylstroom) is a town located in the Waterberg in Limpopo Province of South Africa. It is a medium sized town that focuses primarily on agriculture and farming as well as wildlife and tourism. Modimolle is located approximately 135 kilometres north of Pretoria.
The British built a concentration camp here during the Boer War to house Boer women and children. The first prime minister of the Republic of South Africa, JG Strijdom used to reside in Nylstroom.
