Oakwood tube station - Definition

The Oakwood tube station is a station on the Piccadilly Line, Zone 5, between Southgate and Cockfosters.

Opened 13 March 1933, as Enfield West, being given its current name, via Enfield West (Oakwood) 1 September 1946.

The station building is a fine example of the architecture of Charles Holden.
