An obscene telephone call is a telephone call that entails sexual or vulgar communication. Participation in obscene telephone calls is sometimes called phone sex, although usually phone sex refers to a conversation in which both parties consent and participate, and an obscene telephone call is imposed by one party on the other. Obscene telephone calls can constitute a form of sexual harassment.
