The Ohio High School Speech League organizes forensic competition in the state of Ohio. While not directly linked to the National Forensic League (e.g., winning the OHSSL championship tournament will not qualify one to the NFL national championships), it sponsors competition in all of the standard NFL events. It also adds a few of its own, namely, Duet Acting, Oratorical Interpretation, and Prose & Poetry.

The OHSSL is divided into districts including the Cleveland area district, the Youngstown area district, the Canton area district, the Akron area district, and others.
