Ola Ullsten - Definition and Overview

Ola Ullsten (born 1931), Swedish politician. Liberal, former party leader of Folkpartiet. Prime Minister of Sweden from 1978 to 1979. Became prime minister and formed a minority government consisting of Liberal party ministers after the centre-right coalition government between the Centre party, the Liberal Party and the Moderate party broke down because of policy disagreements over tax cuts. Then Minister for Foreign Affairs under Thorbjörn Fälldin. Later Swedish Ambassador to Canada, Italy and the Holy See.
