Otocinclus (auto SINK luss) is a genus of the armored catfish family (Loricariidae). Oto = ear; cinclus = a latticework; an allusion to the holes in the head in the region of the ear.
Common Name: Dwarf Sucker, Oto, Little Monkeys
Features: Rows of armour plating covering body, underslung suckermouth.
Distribution: South America
