Ouest-France Ouest-France

Ouest-France - Definition

Ouest-France ("West-France") is a provincial daily French newspaper. Founded in 1944, it is based in Rennes and boasts a circulation of 762,400 (greater than any French national daily newspaper). Its readership has been unaffected by the decline of newspaper reading in France, unlike most other dailies.

Its editorial line has been strongly pro-European from the beginning.
