The Overseas Highway carries US 1 through the Florida Keys. Large parts of it are built on the former alignment of the Florida East Coast Railway. The highway includes the Seven Mile Bridge.

Portions of the road were tolled until April 15, 1954; toll booths were located on Big Pine Key, Matecumbe Keys, and possibly elsewhere.
