Owsla Owsla

Owsla - Definition

An owsla is a group of physically strong and well-trained rabbits who guard and defend a warren, in Richard Adams' book Watership Down. The owsla's primary purpose is to enforce rules and laws made by the warren's chief rabbit, or rah. In the book Watership Down, the Efrafan owsla was portrayed as a degenerate, fascist form of the institution.

The term "Owsla" was once used as the name of a group in the multiplayer online game Furcadia who enforced the rules of that game.
