Oxygen Masks are used to provide a means of supplying a source of oxygen from a storage tank to the lungs of humans and animals. Oxygen masks are made of plastic silicon and rubber. Plastic masks are used primarly by medical care providers as they are disposeable and reduce cleaning costs. Silicon and rubber oxygen masks are used by aviators, medical researchers, and hyperbaric chamber patients that require tightly sealed oxygen masks for administration of 100% oxygen. Oxygen masks are also available for animals in designs specialized to the animal to supply oxygen during surgeries.
