The Pakistan Muslim League (Q), or PML-Q, is a political party in Pakistan. It was formed in 2001, when the Pakistan Muslim League fractured into several parties, of which the PML-Q was by far the largest. The party is strongly supported by President Pervez Musharraf.
PML(Q) had originated after Nawaz Sharif governmet was overtaken by the military. The party was organised and setup by the military intelligence of Pakistan to gain political support for President Musharraf. Politicians were forced, harrassed and blackmailed to join the 'King's Party', some of the most corrupt politicians of the country who had cases against them in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) are now prominent leaders of this party.
